A cam free chat room?

Im just wondering what the views and opinions to a cam free chat room are? Do people think it would work better and stop the directors and people wanting to be directing? If not, why?

I mean, it IS a chat room, so maybe taking the cam option away, might bring it back to being just that?

Just my thoughts, not hear for a row.

i know what i think is of no importance but i agree with you,i think it would be better with no cams but i dont think the majority of people on here would agree and the room would be empty most of the time

well as for my humble two pence worth, I don't think the room would be empty, it would allow for some more flirting and stimulating conversation, and it would maybe slow down all the single males "popping" into just to perv cams... well there you go my opinion

We are pretty regular in the Wales room although not hugely chatty , happy to sit back and enjoy the banter between friends , this means we take in most conversations between others and the huge majority of comments and conversations are directed towards people with cams on , this isn't a criticism and it's normal human nature so maybe a non cam room would help include those who are maybe camera shy or a little private ?

It may be an idea for admin to use the old chat rooms as non cam chat, as they seem to be used very little these days. May be worth suggesting to admin in the relevant section if enough people are happy with the idea.

Not a huge fan of cams and I am not a fan of sitting with ours on either it makes me feel all self conscious so cam free a good idea I think ! We do occasionally venture into the old chat but talking to "ones self " is a form of madness lol

To be honest I think the problems in the Wales chat room are much deeper seated than the issue of cams

I dont think moving a problem alleviates it. From reading an alternative post in another section I am under the impression that Admin are looking to make more moderators, providing that the mods are impartial and diligent, which I know you were in the past Vampy, then the problem should be sorted

after the last thread on this ive messaged admin suggesting they remove the cams from old chat and make it cam free and just use that for chat only

As this thread was just for what people think, why not one of you start a thread in the chat feedback section as a yes or no answer...Admin check the feedback/ help sections to get peoples wants and dislikes.

mind you it could be good to have just ONE extra room chat only xxxx for a trial period say 4 weeks cos when i first joined originally half of us didnt have cams anyway lol
