Hi all, ive just been chatting with a lady about a possible meet. Understandably she is nervous so i suggested a social and a possible play after a coffee or drink if we click. She has now accused me of being pushy, i said i'm just being honest.....what do you think please ...?

Women dont want to feel pressured into playing on a first meet. Where as where you said if we click, we will have a little play. Surely thats here decision to make. Have social and if she wants to meet again your in luck. She doesnt want to feel like she HAS to play on that meet. And if shes comfortable with you it will happen.

I would never pressure anyone into playing if they dont want to. I get what you are saying and of course thats her decision. I am just trying to differentiate between being honest and being pushy... thanks for the comment

To be honest mate i told her that if we couldnt agree about the difference between honesty and being pushy then maybe we are not what each other are looking for.....thanks for your input mate...

Yeah I’d back this up to.

It’s either a social or a play meet.

If someone was arranging a social with me and went on about playing afterwards I’d call it quits.

I'd say you were being pushy...

If I were to meet someone for a social then I'd not open up the possibility of play, just get to know someone first.

If you do feel a spark during the meeting all well and good, but to bring up the possibility is a little too much too soon.

There's such a thing as being too honest

I no longer meet for coffee for this very reason, in fact I no longer meet alone unless its via a club, post or organised social. I like a coffee to be completely free of any pressure or feeling of obligation & your 'honesty' as you put it would be an instant block from me. That expectation would be like a huge elephant in the room & would spoil any enjoyment of getting to know you etc. It's pushy & definitely not a respectful approach. Only my opinion of course, I'm sure some would love what you're proposing & find that approach entirely acceptable X

Personally don’t think you were being pushy.

To many snowflakes around these days, I think it’s always good to set expectations on both sides before any type of meet on fab, sex, social, club meet etc

Of course both have to 100% agree if not move on. But in a less judgmental way than she did

Good luck
