Horrible people

Ok I’m not naive but some people are just horrible.

Had a message of a guy who initiated conversation with ‘do you dress’. One look at my profile says I do. I point this out and then receive:

“You are just a confused gay boy,go and jump off a cliff”.

And then I get blocked

What a lovely Monday.

Take no notice, have had a few abusive messages myself and they normally block before i can reply. They are nothing but keyboard warriors who don't deserve your time. Block, rise above and smile. Good luck. Xxx

Some are just resentful and embittered. They take pleasure from trolling and trying to bring others down. The best thing you can do is to rise above it. Twats lime that don't deserve that type of power. When I get trolling messages, I just send laughing emojis back, to piss them off further

I had a really horrid message of a bloke in England. He'd sent it to a few and was reported. Sadly hes still on Fab. I just cant stand nasty mean spiteful people. Im not tough enough to brush it off either. It hurts x

It's unfortunate but it happens. Put it down to where it comes from and block. Easier said than done but vileness just isn't worth taking any notice of. Be who you are and proud.

I love a nasty msg it always makes me laugh!!!..I msgd a fem weeks ago said seems from your profile we may get on...she replied I'd spelt a word incorrectly which ment I was a tad thick and could never meet thick people!!...now that I roared at and thought yup I like her she's funny..until I realised she actually ment it...soooooo in my usual way I played along pms...I said ok I appreciated her opinion and after reading her desc I could never meet anyone who doesn't understand the meaning of word CURVY lol she went ballistic but hey I said look I love a nasty play along if that's your game just joining in pms!!!..sadly after she sent 3 crazy msgs she left!!!..I'm very sad

Well, firstly, there are those (both men and women on this site) who HATE being told that the question they asked had been answered beforehand on your profile.

Personally, I don't understand why they get so defensive, but maybe it's embarrassment. I feel that was the case - I'm not trying to justify it, however. But it was a retaliation because he may have felt that he was being challenged (some are just too sensitive).

Obviously, I could be completely wrong.

The other thing is that sometimes, behind a keyboard, people display their most vile selves. Particularly when it's one their real name on display and they have no face pics. Plus, they're unlikely to frequent socials.

So, I would take everything that is said by someone like that with, not a pinch of salt, but a bucket of salt. Laugh and move on. Words only have as much power as you allow them to have
