Stranger By The Lake is a mainstream French film with subtitles in English, but don’t let that put you off watching it, especially if you’re like me and tend to watch tv whilst multitasking with something else. This was a film I found easy to watch the screen, not just for the subtitles!

Without giving much away, it’s about a guy visiting a lake over the summer, to get naked and sunbathe. It’s a cruising area too, so there’s plenty of action shown. There’s something going on he’s suspicious of, so the story develops there and with new friends he makes.

It took me a few days with rewinds to see it all. I’ll leave you guessing as to the reason why.
