Is anyone else becoming a little un-nerved as swinging seems to be becoming more mainstream?

Just recently, there seems to be an influx of people from close to home joining the site, and also wanting to attend clubs etc.

I cant help but feel swinging is becoming unhidden. Too much so. Is anyone else feeling the same ?

I agree there is nothing wrong with swinging itself. However, over the past few weeks, i have heard of and spoken to people who are using the site and clubs as a quick leg over.

To then go on and start throwing about names hardly a good thing when we all need discretion

Swinging has been around since the 16th century, it has had many incarnations.

Like everything else it sometimes goes through fad increases in popularity.

As a society we are becoming more liberal and therefore it's coming out of the closet, so to speak.

As for those using clubs and fab for a "quick leg over" that is their choice,different strokes for different folks.

I don't remember being issued a book of swinging rules and regulations telling me what is not allowed, if you don't like these types then just avoid them.

I suppose that the internet has made finding swinging partners much easier but yes I have noticed a marked change too in the last 10 years. While an increase in interest amongst the wider population would appear to be welcome there has been a deterioration in manners and attitude but that might just be society generally or just a sign I'm getting older. It is also apparent to me that more and more folk are adopting the moral high ground than previously, publicly or privately passing judgement whether it is deserved or not is unwelcome to the recipient. The saying goes that if you dont have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all but it appears that vitriol and an increase in just outright unpleasantness towards other other people has become acceptable behavior.

Sex brings out the best and worst in mankind, I guess that is a constant at least.

Will I leave fab because of it? No, I won't be going that far!

Does anyone even swing any more it seems it's always socials going on ever week and not many couples meeting where we live if we look who is near by its all single men think it's time to find a site that couple doeey for fun

The fact that we are all "deviants" by the moral majorities standards means there is always a little risk, and lets me honest, it's the thrill of the 'forbidden' that makes it all the more exciting.

Usual common sense rules apply, careful who you meet and never show your face and your genitals in the same photo or your face and someone else's genitals come to think of it!

There have been a few incidents lately where people have been outed to family members which is shocking to say the least.

Little act that came into power recently called The Revenge Porn Act. People should remember this before deciding to out another. It can carry a custodial sentoof up to 3 years!

And yes fake profiles are made and you may think they can't be traced but they can to the ip address and you will be found out. If the police found enough evidence of malicious intent they will prosecute.

The term swinging or wife swopping is mainly aimed at couples for obvious reasons, now some couples think its easy go in a club fuck some ones wife cool the problem is when the see another guy fucking his wife or vice versa, if its not for u it is not going to work, we r a special kind ppl that is ok with this even a turn on as it is for me lol, now the single their r some great huys out there, but most just use it as a quick fuck, thats y when rejected all hell lets loose and they just dont get it, its not a fuck site, its where like minded ppl get together enjoy each others company then if all goes well, Bingo fun fun fun lol.

It is a little worrying , And though, we are doing no wrong , it isn't something you go shouting from the rooftops .. maybe due to the label? Or societal view or whatever, I know it would be frowned upon within my employment and quite frankly it's nobody else's business . I don't understand why somebody would do this either.. x

The problem is not that it's becoming "mainstream" but that it's attracting more nobs be wannabes

You'll occasionally see it at clubs, but it's not that frequent if the clubs themselves have a good "door" policy

It's on the sites / social media where you'll find more disruption as it's so much easier to create a profile, hide behind a keyboard, and be vindictive.

It's just as prevalent here as it is on POF or any other app

I've found that socials and club meets are more successful because people that put themselves out, and make the effort to attend in person are more likely to be "genuine" be interested in this "lifestyle"
