Just wondering if I am making a mistake i recently changed privacy settings on my facebook account so is now searchable (need it open due the new job) but have had a few single guys in clearly fake profile add me from here. Now even though they haven't done anything wrong on fab. Is this bad form and am I allowed to report them if they become abusive on a different site?

Report them & block on FB & consider using 2 phones to separate the accounts. If anyone from here appears on my FB suggestions I routinely block them on FB before they can see my page X

2 numbers, one on FB & one for Fab, keep them both totally separate. It's what most of the people I know do, just a suggestion as you asked.

I was assuming that if you give your number to Fab meets that's how they show on FB. No idea what your problem is but I'll butt out now & leave all those others who've rushed to assist to advice you better. Happy Swinging X

You’re making a mistake with your username

You might want to change that ASAP

Yeah, defo need to change your fab name, I just had a look to see how easy it would be to find you and it took seconds, just had an educated guess at your fore/surnames from your user name and there you were.

I want going to comment again but having just found you I can see another very big problem, you're using the same pics on here in public as on there. If anyone clicks on your pic to do an image search your FB comes up, I just did it & boom there you are on my FB. I'm posting this more to inform others tbh X

I don't think she had a problem, I just don't think she is getting what you mean about the privacy thing on FB

Definately a change of username required (as recommended above) - you should have as little personal info on your profile as possible. Perhaps change your location to something a little less specific as well (eg. South Wales)??

I also agree that you should change your pic - avoid including your face on any public-facing images. Even though your current pic is blurry, it can still be matched to the one on your FB profile.

All advice above is very good , never put similar pics on FB and fab if you want your identity to remain a secret. We put a pic on fab that only have a tiny part of the dress my wife had on showing but it was a very distinctive pattern. We put a picture on FB of her in that dress ( fully clothed and respectable obviously) but someone recognised it .

As said above, sites like FAB & FB don't make good bed mates. They should be kept very separate unless you completely trust the other person.

Generally attitudes to sex sites have changed and most people don't care these days - unless it involves someone they know.

There are plenty of weirdos kicking around here. If one gets a chip on their shoulder and links your FB account to FAB. You could find them sending messages to people on your FB friends list.
