I know of 2 examples on this, 1st, someone I knew ignored it for a while, was also just before he moved houses, so thought he was in the clear! Till he went on holidays, on his return his passport flagged up that a warrant was out for his arrest, he was taken to the local station while we all made our way home from the airport..he had to go to court in the stra he was caught which appended to be miles from where hr lived.banned for a few mths and a few hundred.fine with points....2nd- requested a pic which was taken at early evening, his lights dazzled the pic so you could only make out his registration no. And. Make of car, he didn't produce his documents and ended up in court, although they couldnt prove who was driving, they said he was responsible for the car being the owner, ended up £1000 fine, 3pts.might have been fined less if he produced but refused to accept who was driving, may have even got thrown out of court. |
