As you are aware we have once more organized a weekend for us.

On the Saturday night there will be a Marquee, Disco and Buffet, remember its the people that make the weekend. There will be a theme on the Saturday night, this year it is ...

“Swashbuckling Pirates ”!!!

..., so, ladies and gents, dig out your cutlasses, your eyepatches, your parrots and your most flouncy shirts, and practice shouting “Ahhargghhh me hearties!”, and “shiver me timbers!” whilst drinking large amounts of rum, yo ho ho!

There is very basic camping facilities available (tents, caravans, campervans and vans etc welcome) There is no power hookup. Toilets will be provided and should you require shower facilities these will be available onsite.

You will require 3 meet/veris to be able to attend.

I think i'll have to nip to Cardiff. Im entirely cautious with regards to sizing etc when buying offline. Failing that.. my vanilla friend has one i can borrow (but has no idea what for)

Just turn up, book in, drop your kit off at your chosen bunk, and then go mingle, maybe help those who are finding putting up tents a bit of an adventure, make some friends and chill.... oh, and anyone who fancies lending a hand in the marquee would be very welcome.

I wouldn't worry too much, there is quite a bit of "communal" cooking and drinking goes on around the tents, its a pretty chilled and friendly weekend.

Im nipping to a local shop for picky foods as I don't have anywhere cool to keep meats for a bbq. Snack foods plus peanut butter ice cream but I'd have to eat that right away lol

There is a small place onsite that does breakfast rolls. Plus the buffet on Saturday night.

I've been for 5 out of the 6 years and this works for me...

I have a meal the Friday before I leave. Then have sandwiches etc tea time. Saturday breakfast roll, last of the fresh stuff from my cool bag, buffet at event. Sunday breakfast rolls. I take snacks etc if I'm hungry.

Plus there is a McDonald's and a supermarket reasonably close if you do need it

There is a small place onsite that does breakfast rolls. Plus the buffet on Saturday night.

I've been for 5 out of the 6 years and this works for me...

I have a meal the Friday before I leave. Then have sandwiches etc tea time. Saturday breakfast roll, last of the fresh stuff from my cool bag, buffet at event. Sunday breakfast rolls. I take snacks etc if I'm hungry.

Plus there is a McDonald's and a supermarket reasonably close if you do need it
