"Wat is beaujolais day?"

Its basically when people who have nothing better to do wit their money spend it on going over to France to get the first bottles of the season and bring them back...claiming bragging rights..

Its basically an excuse for a piss up (especially among the yuppies in the city of London)..a big fuss is made about 'having' to have a glass of the stuff that nobody bothers with throughout the rest of the year!

High Wycombe

Beaujolais nouveau (new beaujolais) is the first red wine to come out.

It is not a very good wine but it is cheap (in France at least, not sure here^^)

Most of the time it tastes of banana and vinegar^^

Not recommended
