Hi would like some opinions. If I've sent a message and it hasn't been read in about a week do I assume they don't want to chat or possibly they've had lots of messages and mine was lost in the middle, if the message is deleted that's fine obviously and won't message again. If the second, is it acceptable to send another or not? I appreciate that couples and females have loads of messages.

I think you just chalk it up as a "swing and a miss" and move on, best thing would be to delete the message from your sent box and that way its a nice surprise if you get a reply.

I agree just regularly delete your sent mail....you can't worry about it then

I wouldn't say you need to send another message. We had 5 in one day of a couple on here when we didn't reply

Yup. No reply tends to mean not interested.

We click on profiles first and only open/read the message if we like what we see and read.

If we don't like what we see the message doesn't even get opened.
