I have been to a meet where a contribution was required and had a great time . In this case the couple took the risk that no one would turn up and could potentially have ended up paying for the hotel room themselves . If a contribution is required people can just ignore the meet and let those who are happy to share costs enjoy. I had a great time and it was money well spent. | |||
