Well I was planning on going to Monknash to top up the all over tan... but the tide is too high, so off to Kenfig!

Ok it’s park up at kengig nature reserve . Walk down the long sandy track once on the beach turn right walk about a half of to a mile and in the dunes

Is it a place just for nude sunbathing or is there fun to be had too. Wouldn't want to inadvertently upset anyone. PM answers please rather than state anything publicly.

Most people just go there to sunbathe, but some fun does happen in the dunes. Just be discreet and respectful, enjoy!

It's long been known as a nudist beach so the info put on here is nothing new really. Unlike dogging spots that can be visited for a few minutes in any weather by nuisance single guys , making a visit to these beaches generally involve a long walk and spending time there is often a day long activity so there's far less unwanted attention than you'd think, most guys just can't be bothered. We were there 3 weeks ago and it was lovely , 4 couples with the odd guy here and there who caused not inconvenience to us or others.

I know the location is well known but I meant i was annoyed at people mentioning play as other people may get the wrong idea.

Hopefully the nice weather will still be around and we may get out in the sunshine

Ah yes point taken and you're quite right , many people assume because you like to go naked then you must be there for sex but in most cases nothing could be further from the truth . We've had many occasions where guys have sat above us openly playing with themselves with no encouragement from us but they soon get bored when we completely ignore them

Can I just add my thoughts. If any of you guys do go to any of these beaches where nude bathing goes on ffs pls use a bit of etiquette and respect of others and don't confuse naturist and sex, they are not generally connected and yes of course 'play ' does occur at times but as someone said just getting tour todger out and having a play isn't the done thing and if a female or couple want to ' play ' they will let you know , not the other way around ...

You only have to travel Europe to know this , it’s the norm and family’s do it . I know what you mean though a lot of folk can’t tell the difference from being a naturist

Kenfig isn't well known by all locals as a nudist beach and I would agree with the other posters who ask for a degree of decorum when using it as such. I've had men expose themselves to me when I've been alone walking my dog which is disconcerting to say the least. It's not far enough out of the way to discourage horse riders, dog owners or serious walkers so people who wish to use it as such need to be aware that it's frequently visited by families of all ages.

Well I never! I grew up right next to there and my grandparents live opposite the dunes and I never knew there was a nudist beach there. It must be out of the way of the first dunes you come to as if walking from the angel cos I'm frequently there with my daughter and my friend and her daughter as we take the sledges for them to slide down the dunes and we've never seen anything. Apart from one thing on Facebook where a lone lady dog walker posted a picture of a man walking in a leopard print thong walking towards her and she was warning people.

We tend to stick to the little man made hollows at the top of the beach and the dunes so that we're not in direct view of anyone , be they general public or fellow naturist. there are many who are happy to walk to the sea and swim naked even when the tide is out and we often see walkers and horse riders pass them without a second glance but it's not for us , we prefer a little discretion and respect for others preferences

They're brave, have you seen the size of the pikes that have been caught down there, I'd never go too far into the water!

They like your calves, seen and heard of people getting some nasty bites even through their waders, don't risk it

The nudist beach is sker but at the far west of the beach most around the dunes the east is a family end as thay are around a mile apart. As for most locals as I am it is well known not done any of it my self but walked bast many of times. Best way to get a tan though lol

Nothing inbetween Monknash and Kenfig as far as I know.

I think the only tackle allowed on Ogmore beach is the fishing kind.

The whole point of a nudist beach is to visit and lie down to sunbathe so why would you need to walk a dog there and why do you need someone to go with you? Plenty of guys go alone and you say you love it so just get yourself down there
