I know, it never translates the same. My daughter is fluent she's only 8 and I do stuff for her and she'll be like no that doesn't make sense!

I know, I get different translations on your post previous to this one....

One version said that you would like to meet for coffee and then another said that you would rather shag a machete than meet me so....

Some of us sadly went to English schools and when I was in school Welsh was a dying language. I translated it but im still none the wiser lol

Welsh weren't compulsory when I was a kid in Malpas . Never even taught us the Welsh National Anthem. Did have to sing 'God save our Queen' and 'All things bright and beautiful' as a kid as we put our seats on our desks.

I lived in Lampeter for years and the only Welsh I learnt was the slang, two different names for a microwave and how amazing Dai's is when you are hung over to fuck. I am pretty sure the locals there only spoke Welsh around us foreigners when they wanted to slag us off or have a sneaky private conversation lol. Unless you beat them at pool and then you heard all sorts of interesting phrases
