House gathering...

Looking to have a small house gathering.. soon..

I have 1 planned this month and is full..

If all goes well we will be doing another.

Any one had any experience. Good or bad ?

It depends what you want from it, social, fun? We've had a few fun ones but if that's the type you're looking for, be prepared to start the fun X

Prob start off with a lill kik group just so every 1 can say hello. And then a social to start. We always end with a lill playing lol xx

Have held a few party's only advice I can give is if you want say 10 single men the accept 20 as half never turn up .

Never go by the thread 100 males could show interest, 20 could be invited & you might see 2 on the night. In 8 years here I've yet to see a male heavy event or party X

We came to one of your parties back last year with friends of ours but had to leave early due to friends had to go gutted was looking forward to staying longer

Expect a 30/40% turn out rate. People will cancel the day before or just not show unless you’ve got trusted regulars turning up.

Speak to people on the phone first, if they won’t take this step then you know they won’t show.

Set the ground rules at the start when everyone has arrived

I can only speak from experience and this approach tends to work well for me.

However do appreciate that not everyone is prepared to share contact numbers and are genuine

Totally understandable and I can relate to that. I’ve had awkward contact at unexpected times when giving out my number

There are other methods. Kik cam can be relatively effective but usually it freezes a lot.

I’ve learned to speak with both m and f in a couple because there’s so many men pretending. Rest assured I can see you’re a genuine mf couple
