Telephone engineer needed

I'm moving to carmarthen in 2 weeks and the phone line from the box outside the front door that goes into the house needs replacing ... can anyone help me please.

Unfortunately if the cabling from the street to the master socket in the house is damaged, by law only OpenReach can touch it. Even if you are subscribed to another telephone provider.

Anything after the Master Socket is fair game for someone who knows what they are doing.

Ah right i did not know that ...I shall have to contact them than ... thank you

The wire is passing through the old wooden front door frame and with the new door it will have to be moved.
