Who thinks everyone on fab should be photo verified to message others on fab

Nope, waste of time, proves nothing, can be easily faked.

Even if it is genuine, doesn't mean they will turn up.

You can at least hope that they're actually putting some effort in to their _rofile, and possibly other interactions on Fab

Personally I think it should be compulsory, as it'll at least stop some (not all) of the fakery

Rather a well written thoughtful _rofile than to be photo verified. .. then again lot of written word is fake. ..

Definitely prefer a written _rofile, more than a couple of lines is something.

Will stop a lot of chancers joining and messaging on there day off

Most of us do like a well written _rofile, but nobody is being "made" to do so.

the more "hurdles" you put in the way for members to be able to interact with each other in the first place, the better??

Get people photo verified, make it a week before you can message someone after first joining (like being able to use the forums) etc.

It'll stop a lot of the curious, timewasters, multiple _rofiles and so on ??

Card payment only, with minimum of silver site support to send messages. People will think twice about joining up, especially if they got a joint bank account.

Card payment won't work people will just buy prepaid, I'm not any of the above but I'm also not a site supporter, I was for many months but I just found that all you generally get extra is seeing people who have viewed you, it's not that I'm not enjoying the site it's just a lot to pay every month to see who has viewed you. As a supporter I do every so months do it just to put a bit of money into it, but in the real world if everyone had to sign up to a card I think you would find a lot of people leave, and that wouldn't help fab to be able to run this well...fab lol.

Payment does not have to be made by a debit or credit card, you can charge the amounts to your mobile phone account and perhaps the Forums should be for paying members only resulting in more revenue for the site and better overall facilities.

We'd rather fewer members, but more genuine members.

Although it isn't foolproof, for us the only veri worth taking notice of is a "meet in person" one, especially if they played.

Unfortunately, even well-verified _rofiles can let you down, always trust your gut instinct.

Utter rubbish, can be faked and does not guarantee people will show.

Only way to know if they are genuine is a social meet or verifications of known fabbers and then they may not show. Having a flag or 100 webcam verifications means nothing

None of the options are “£2.50 a month” they’re lump sums. Some people watch every penny. Some months I certainly have too as I don’t work regular hours so can’t never be sure of my income.

Does that mean I’m a fake and shouldn’t be allowed on the forums or to message people?

Because some people don’t want to pay. I have because I could afford it at the time. If I can’t afford it when it’s up, should I not be allowed to message people?

“Why not?” Isn’t an answer. I’ve yet to see a valid reason for making everyone pay other than people think it MIGHT stop timewasters.

I’ve been messed around by people with meet veris and who are site supporters. It’s not a guarantee of anything.

Well a gold membership costs under seventeen pence a day and the silver membership costs only ten pence per day,if people cannot afford to pay those small amounts then they are not financially capable of socialising or actually meeting

I find that pretty darned offensive as neither socialising or meeting cost anything at all to be fair.

But to place emphasis on people who pay to use the site as being somehow more "genuine" or somehow more "preferable" swingers/members is also quite offensive.

If you are genuine, it shows through whether or not you have a shiny icon next to your name showing that you have paid some money for a website's additional functions. Plus people who have no desire except for messing people around can easily afford the as you put it "ten pence per day" in order to have their laughs. It solves nothing putting a financial barrier there.

Plus it’s not “17p a day” is it? It’s a lump sum.

Socials arent the beall and end all of fab. If someone can accommodate how does that make them incapable of meeting? Or if they can drive?

Plenty of people live paycheque to paycheque and personally I’d rather put £20 of fuel in my car to get to meet than pay it out for a pass that does nothing but give you a few extra pictures. Or even £30 on a hotel room, which is more beneficial to actually meeting on fab than a little gold or silver medal on your _rofile.

Everything can be broken down into pence a day. If it’s not paid daily then however much it costs a day is completely irrelevant.

If a fiver is a lump sum I just wouldn't think that you would be a good drinking partner, more the case the site has overheads to pay and if nobody paid there just wouldn't be a Forum or for that matter a website

If it helps, why not change your settings to only being contacted/viewed and visa/versa to site supporters, see if it works out differently?

My long term stalker thought nothing of joining several times per day & paying the fee to by pass my filters, none of these things will improve a pile of shite. Not that I'm saying the site is a pile of shite, far from it but some of the people, well... They pay & still

If you pay via text. Other payment methods are more. It helps if you actually know what you’re talking about when trying to tell people their wrong.

And no one has said don’t pay. Those who pay do and those who don’t don’t. But forcing people to pay to be able to message? No. It doesn’t stop timewasters. There’s no need for it.

There’s such a stuck up attitude from some people on here. As if their way of using the site is the only correct way.

It works as it is. You get meet verified people that will mess you around and waste your time. Of them being verified as meeting doesn’t stop it then making people pay won’t either.

Exactly. If someone wants to mess people around they’ll pay to do so. It’s not a magical cure all and money shouldn’t be a requirement of having a sex life. Unless you’re into that sort of thing.
