I am looking to set up a party for single females and single males towards end of april.

Probably about 6 of each sex.

Anyone interested or offer any suggestions?

It has been advised to me, that I should give out my address details the week before the party.

Also all guys will be confirmed when we know how many females will be attending.

Hope that's ok with everyone.

It isn't the numbers tbh it's the dynamic & how it plays out, also what the host wants from the night. Been to smaller & larger parties, the larger ones have usually been more social. But that's just my experience from 10 years of many different parties. The key is usually the right people being there, socialites, players, a mix of the two, numbers can be prohibitive. No doubt the host has his vision for the night & maybe his home doesn't allow for more than that. I'm sure whatever the numbers he'll have a good night X

Just a quick post...it looks like we have around 5 to 6 single females interested in the party, which is awesome. I'm thinking 8 to 10 single guys aswell...your thoughts everybody?

Regards to having an idea of how I want the night to unfold...i just would like everybody to have a good night. It's hard to judge how it's going to go (mix of people etc)...but I have no expectations x

Was also thinking if everyone brought some sort of food...we can have a proper buffet. only reason I say this, last time I hosted a couples night, I spend £100 on food and most of it got wasted.

OP, whilst some might be happy to join a Kik group, they very usually decend in to a cliquey feeling mosh pit of angst, drama, opinions and ultimately fallings-out. Best to stick with arranging everything via DM on here if you want most people to attend. If the Newport Social can be done with 150 odd guests all via Fab messages, then I am sure that you will be able to do an equally excellent job yourself .
