I've been speaking to a girl for a while who's in demand and also has a FB. She was keen at first, then cooled and then ultimately agreed to meet, not only one-to-one but with her FB too. It all sounded great, we arranged it between us and then... BAM! Blocked. Anyone else had this done to them?

It might not be face to face, but it's annoying that people don't apply the same common courtesy on here they would in real life - that goes for guys and girls before I'm accused of ripping into girls

It's the Internet...... People owe you nothing on here and you owe them nothing in return, until you actually meet you are strangers on a website with no gravity in either party's world. Even then after meeting you will still be strangers in all probability.

It happens all the time, happened to me the other day and 2 days later was standing a few feet away from them at a social, you just have to chalk it up for what it is and forget about it.

You might have been lucky they have cancelled on you. They could have been stalkers lol. It has happened to me. You see their shadow at every turn you take.

I had really good unexpected meets which resulted from spontaneous exchange of messages, but honestly I prefer a social and face to face meet before anything further. Do not take fab to personally, as someone already advised, take it as an add on. You will find good genuine people here. Good luck

I know what you mean you chat loads with someone you think the person must be genuine no one going to waste that much time being fake. I was suppose to meet someone before. they said meet them outside somewhere. I waited they text say be there in 2 min so I am waiting no one turns up they text me say I didn't turn up and I wasted there time. I try phoning as soon as they text they don't answer. I sent them a pic of me standing where we suppose to meet they just cut all contact then.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it mate. Unfortunately the ratio of men to women on here gives them a massive head and they think they're the best thing since sliced bread when in reality if you saw them in a club they'd be a solid 4/10

It sounds like you have been placing a little bit too much emphasis on the end result rather than the journey along the way. That and that you have been taking the whole thing a little bit too personally and using it as your primary source of happiness in this area of your life.

If you have other means of making your life happy then do those things, take enjoyment in other things and use Fab only to enhance your life, not be an integral part of it. If you find yourself judging yourself and your sense of self worth by how many views or messages you get, or how many meets you have or how long in between, you are going about it the wrong way and not enjoying the site.

Of course this is all my subjective opinion, I don't know you or the lady or other people in question, I could be way off the mark. But don't dwell on it, the more you do that the worse it will be. There are hundreds of other women on this site in your local area, see if you can strike up a conversation with any one of them and I am sure that you will quickly forget about this.
