Barry Island help please

Random for a swingers site but I've got a female work colleague out with me for the day in 2 weeks and she's a big Gavin and Stacey fan so I thought I'd treat her for lunch.

Please can anyone confirm that boofys is the fish n chip shop on the programme, is the food any good and where's the closest place to park.

It will be midweek lunchtime

Weekend then yes it will be open, weekdays usually only during half term and summer

I think it was boofys chip shop but the one next door I think it’s called o’sheas Is THE BEST fish and chips on the island.

If you really want to impress maybe see if they’re still doing the ‘Daves coaches’ tours. Although I think they’ve finished now

half term in the vale is 16th- 23rd if that helps ... their phone number comes up on a google search so maybe call them to see if they'll be open on the day .... there 2 hrs free parking on paget road or then there's station approach road and a few on friars road too
