Won't take no for an answer

How does everyone else deal with people who won't take no for an answer?

I usually politely tell said person they're not my type but wish them all the best on FAB.

Lately I've been getting:

"what if we went for a social first?'

"I don't look like me in the pictures."

All down the line to pretty much begging - not attractive at all. There are so many people on here, I don't understand why when no means no it doesn't stick.

Some people simply can't cope with rejection, and the deadly combination of low self esteem, hatred of rejection, and a dash of psychosis produces the stalker. Best to block if it continues?

Thank you. I feel bad for these people if that is the case but I guess they need to learn with rejection. I just had to block a guy on here and kik who was messaging me earlier in the year and then I was having external stress so not meeting. I asked him to respect that and not contact me. He constantly kept messaging to the point where I thought if he didn't / couldn't even respect that, what would it be like if it somehow got to the bedroom!

I don't get it. I've lost count of the amount of messages that I've not had replies to or a no thanks.

Why would you feel the need to convince someone that their wrong about you.

Blocking is a necessary evil at times. It's a shame that it has to be though.

Block, its a simple, yet effective tool on your profile & who cares if it's seen as harsh it's your profile & you have no intention of meeting these people. We seem to forget most people here are strangers so why give them undue thought? Would you positively acknowledge & consider a stranger in the street who shows his cock or asks 'fuck now' I don't think so

If they don't respond well to a polite No Thank You. Then you certainly don't want to go anywhere near them. The more messages they send is an indication of much trouble they would be if you did actually meet.

Just block and move on, people like that are ones who'd been phoning you at all hours or turning up at your front door without an invertaion.

If and when we're looking we politely say thanks but your not what were looking for if not a match.

If they come back with a 'but.....

Then we just block.

There’s a great deal of disordered personalities here on Fab and rejection is a bit of a no no for people who suffer with it.

It may be best to block and make yourself aware of the type of personality to avoid.

Yes people's messaging patterns tell you quite a lot. Someone who's pushy in messaging will be just as selfish in real life. Neglectful texters are negligent partners too.

The problem is a lot of guys are single for a very good reason and genuinely have no clue how to interact with women on any level let alone when it comes to a site like this

Have had this problem multiple times... Told some people NO and they still keep trying to message, even under other accounts... One local creep even found out where I lived by asking friends and saying he was a friend.. Turned up on my doorstep about 4 times before the cops had to be called...
