Have you decked your halls with boughs of Holly?

Is the tree erect?

The light show on the exterior of the house?

Or is it Bah Humbug?

It's a bit too soon for us, though we did go to the plantation and pick our tree yesterday

All set for another quiet Christmas, with no trimmings.

Now my daughter is down before Christmas this year, so i suppose I have to put them up now.

I have 3 beautiful children who I spoil and a wonderful family, some people don't have anyone.

It just reminds me of a very difficult time last year.

Will be putting my decs up Thursday when I'm off, unless I fall and break my neck going up the attic to get them

Will be putting my decs up Thursday when I'm off, unless I fall and break my neck going up the attic to get them

I'm not a lover of Christmas either due to tough times around this time of year. I did balance on a ladder to get the tree down to give to my daughter. Me dangling from the attic was the best laugh we've had for a while

Can't have enough lights twinkling in the home during Yule. Putting ours up this afternoon, then be looking for the mulled wine for cosy evenings by the fire .....

I'm feeling Christmasy but too tired to put stuff up yet, maybe I'll bribe someone soon. I work through Christmas through choice but I still love it, which reminds me I'll need to find someone to help me with the Christmas trifle this year

I have my birthday just before Christmas but I must admit I'm looking forward to it this year.

Lots of presents and I got the luck of picking some of my own so I know I'm getting spoilt.

I'll help my parents with the decorations at there's but non at mine as I'm working so much

Tell me about it. But on the plus side, I can take them all down and put them away before Christmas. Saves me having to do it after. Lol

I've had brief periods when ive enjoyed Christmas like when I was a Stepmum and when my nieces were smaller. But Christmas hasn't been a good time for me for a lot of years for one reason and another. I get called bahumbug or Ms Scrooge and I'll take the names. I don't like it and that's it. All the hype for one day.

Only thing I do like is the food and Christmas kisses
