Not at all. Your profile exists so it can convey to people what you like and what you're looking for. Unfortunately many people have the attention span of a goldfish and will message without bothering to read. Just the way it is.

Yeah we get a bit annoyed with guys not reading our profile and messaging us. We always take the time to read people’s profiles , that’s what they’re there for..... sorry to hijack your tread but we always get annoyed by people who don’t have anything on their profiles haha

Hallelujah, I'm glad I'm not alone!

It literally takes a couple of minutes to read a person's profile and you get all the information you need to know if you should proceed to messaging them or not.

It's the second thing I do when I view a person's profile. Of course we're all guilty of having a cheeky perv first of all

It's certainly not a complicated profile, be strong the guy's tend to be too lazy to read, that or they just don't care where they dump it so they bulk message any female looking profile. Your profile is your shop window & if a guy really has interest & meets your requirements their message will link to your needs X

It's majorly annoying.

We are inundated daily with messages and winks from people who, if they bothered to read our profile would realise it's a waste of time contacting us because they're not what we're looking for.

We've been very clear on our profile, so there's no excuse. It's just laziness. We read profiles really carefully before we contact anyone.

It depends on the quality of the photos if they are a 3 or over (I'm still working on the ranking algorithm) then it's generally worth a pun to send a random crap mail

I'm sure I'm doing something right I had a reply the other day it said "Fuck off" which is an improvement on nothing

I did a small experiment:

I have read your profile, put RUGBY in the message, attached my picture, however i haven't received one of your pics in return as you stated in your profile? Conclusion: reading the profile was not necessarily.

I will keep reading my financial times at least I get up to date info.

Maybe it’s just guys that don’t read profiles as the amount of men that message me asking to play when I’m very clear on my profile that ain’t my thing

Maybe men are more visual creatures and go by looks alone, where as if the used their head more they have better luck

As you say, you haven't got enough time to reply to every one. You can't expect everyone to have time to read your profile either. Nothing personal here. It is what it is. I personally do not have time to message every profile I would potentially like. It takes time to fully analyse if it is really worth contacting someone. And after investing that time to find out, as in example my message to you, it was a waste of my time. And yours probably I believe.

Lifelong experience has confirmed many times: the interpretation of texts and messages is not always as it has been intended. Face to face is the better way.

I have done this countless times, jumping through hoops and nothing I was especially nice too.

Regardless of whether people expect a reply or not if there are stipulations to reading a eulogy then at least have the same courtesy and reply with a thanks but no thanks.

Ultimately you do not have to reply or even acknowledge the person and if they ignore your your no thank you there's always the block button. But if you are expecting the respect you deserve then return it.

What happend is said persons probably looked at your profile thought fuck reading that, I'll perv instead on seeing the bare back photos thought fuck that and youre now on an ever growing block list

Totally agree with lowrider , 99 times out of 100 if you read the whole profile and play by the rules you don't get a reply not even a polite no thanks ... fab is not a good source of fun for a single man... the well known swiping app however ...

Think what you want but at least I'm honest in what I've wrote in my profile. More often than not when I reply to people I'm then faced with a "why?" I shouldn't have to justify my reasons to anyone. We all can't be everyone's cup of tea and that is a fact of life. But I take a look at the profiles of the people that don't read mine and I've not found one that state's "I can't be arsed or don't have time to read profiles"

Personally I think fab has such an uptight tone to it these days, I've been on here and swinging on various sites for 10 years and I swear back then it was just so much more fun. At least chams and other clubs still have a good vibe mind

There is no argument here if you are honest or not. Or whether you should not be choosy and should try to please everyone. We will never be able to please everyone, no matter how hard we are trying to. My reply was to your initial question in this post. Just to remind, you asked why people (male part I assume lol) do not read your profile. Hence I did a small experiment to provide you some evidence before I have replied here.

To be honest I do not suffer from lack of attention and I am not seeking for one either. That post was interesting.
