The new Lahore Indian in Newport, amazing food, we have never eaten in the restaurant so can't comment on that but always had an excellent takeaway.

Shame you are just looking in your area, but if you are ever down Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, could I suggest you have a look at the Cliff Restaurant, Saundersfoot.. It is fine dining, but the food is excellent! - Been there a few times and love it! - The hotel is also lush with spa, etc

Newport

Newport is full of Chained Restaurants now but as mentioned Tamarind Risca, Indian Cottage Newport or something different is Dutchy's Newport if you like Jamaican food.

I think the Lahore won 'Best Indian Restaurant' a while back.

Ah yes forgot about Dutchys, we've been a couple of times and found the food and atmosphere superb.

Indeed, my comments are fake I haven't really eaten anywhere in the city that I live in.

Cardiff

Cen at the Celtic Manor is an asian fusión style, if you like that type of cuisine I’d definitely recommend. The Thai green is excellent. Best you can get without jumping on a plane anyway!
