I'm thinking about organising a Ceilidh for a Friday evening in the autumn (Sort of end of October time)

It will be in the Cardiff/Bridgend area.. ish

Exact date/time/venue all yet TBC

Who would be interested in something like this .. ??

Possibly.

I went to one last year under sufferance - much as I like folk music, I like mournful folk music, not the dancing stuff.

I'm glad I did. It was flipping excellent fun and loads of people who thought it wasn't for them loved it, includingly some achingly trendy types.
