Depends how far you want to go; there's Gavin rose in Cardiff amazing work, frontier tattoo in Cardiff have done some good japanese stuff.

But if you're willing to travel (London is a super easy trip Megabus or train) then you've got my personal favourite Stewart Robson at modern classic where I had my thighs done or 9 tails tattoo in London or Ian flower just outside - all great artists.

Oh and if money isn't an object Alex Reinke the ex apprentice of horyoshi III works in london too but super $$.

I got my sleeves done here in France but that's probably pushing it for traveling

Anybody got any experience with physical graffiti in cardiff? Have heard good things about it, but all our stuff has been done abroad so not sure what's best over here. Money not an issue as it's my skin!

Traditional sailor type tattoo next. Was going to go in and have a chat with them but obviously didn't want to go somewhere completely unknown. Appreciate the feedback

I had mine done at Ultimate Inc in Pontypridd. Very happy with the results and had a good laugh with the staff.

I'd definitely recommend traveling to the best artist you can, 5-6 hours traveling is nothing when tattoos tend to last a while
