So o just checked out my news feed on my iPhone and Fab Swingers is mentions on there.

Apparently we've 'taken over' a camp site for the weekend ,

Just read the article now, forum posts have been quoted.. it is wrong though this was setup on a FAMILY campsite.. If you want to arrange something like that that boasts "late night skinny dipping", maybe arrange that on PRIVATE LAND AND NOT A FAMILY FUCKING CAMPSITE!!

I'm sure that the campsite owner would've known about the weekend and if I'm right in thinking that then what's the problem?

Do you honestly think that just because people are Swingers that they are devoid of all decency and morels ? And as for the skinny dipping I live right by two beaches and the amount of young 20-somethings I see down there late at night doing the exact same thing, or is it because they're labelled as Swingers that makes it wrong ?

Just a thought to ponder on

I very rarely ponder on stuff bud, it's too time consuming and do you know for sure the site owner knew he / she would have swingers on their site, knowing that families would be using it, too?! - And if that is the case, how disrespectful.. I'm sure if a young family wanted to use the beach at night, the last thing they'd want to see is washed up bare arses

Well one you can't see bare bums whilst in the sea and two if there's families with children using the beach at midnight then I suggest and it's only a suggestion maybe they should be tucked up in bed by that time ?

Absolutely flabbergasted that the first half dozen or so comments on this thread appear to glorify in the notoriety of this family orientated holiday area that has now been exposed in daily papers as a playground for perverts.

This to me proves beyond doubt that naive ignorance and childish attention seeking is the driving force behind many peoples behaviour on this so called adult site. Shame on those who approve of this newspaper exposure.

having been to numerouse fab cams at the said camp site i feel qualified to comment... it is run with the utmost respect and knowing that it is a family run camp site, nothing untoward goes on in plain sight its a general fun time with bbq's and family fun games and quizes. i have seen more rude stuff from my vanilla friends on facebook than i see going on at the camp. the only nudity is on the skinny dip but we go fully clothed to the beach with is unlit and just jump in and staight out again to huddle under towels and again get dressed or swaddled in towels to go back. no more rudeness than on a saturday night out in town. what happens in tents/caravans.campers is strictly with doors/tent flaps drawn/closed. it has always been run with respect and all attendees know this. the site owners were made aware of the fact that its a group of swingers a few years back and have welcomed the group back time and time again. i am only sorry i have moved to spain and missed this year and if we were still in the uk we would have attended this year and last year also. made some great friends at the camp some of whome i have on facebook and still in contact with. there is no glory in it making national press and will only strain the reputation of the campsite concernained and this i am sure the organisers and the campers who attended this year are only too sorry about..... to the person who leaked the story to the national press ... keep your bloomin gob shut and if your ever found out i hope your swinging life is over and your reputatin is also tarnished as swinging for some is a private matter and not for a low life like yourself to expose... to the organisers i hope that the site forgives and allowes it to go ahead nexxt year but i fear that a new venue may need to be sought

I read the article and most of it was quotes taken from the fab camp thread.

Unfortunately the press have prob got a profile and trawl the forums looking for an event so they can sensationalise it all and the forums are open to the public.

Once an event is organised and the DATES of said event put it forums the press then try to do thier worst.

I only went to one of these on an old profile when I was married & never again, it wasn't discrete & there were families in the same field. I can totally see why its become an issue for speculation.

We would love to attend one of these camping weekend but its this press shit that puts us of and has me thinking about coming of the site as scared of family finding out there r plenty of swinging sites on line why do they always pick on this one and I'd it is someone on here feeding information then that's dam right nasty they should be named and shamed x
