We've already spent £40 on a large self inflatable airbed plus we already got things like that covered lol. "We spent a daft amount on stuff over the years, trouble is, if we bring it all, by the time its all set up, its time to go home! So now we have two sets of stuff... one for weekends, less stuff, just the basics, and the second load is for a week or more, much more stuff, and a trailer to carry it lol! | |||

Not been camping for ages but i could not be more excited! xxx "Don't know your budget, what you have already, and don't know if you will be regular campers (weekend kit is basic compared to two week camp kit), so some stuff on here might be a bit over the top, but here goes lol! Tent.. get the biggest one you can afford. Airbeds... doubles, and more than one if you can. We found a great one that can convert into a sofa. Bed linen is a mater of personal preference, some take sleeping bags, lots take fitted sheets pillows and duvets... remember, it can be chilly at nights. Camping stove... we bought a very basic one, and have upgraded twice, remember, everything you take will need to be set up, if you are only going for a weekend keep it minimal, lightweight, and quick to set up/ take down. Camp cook kit (pots to cook in/heat water in.) Lights... surprising how many people forget these, start with a couple of torches and see how you go. Headtorches are great, keeps your hands free. A folding washing up bowl is always handy, as is a folding water carrier. Camp chairs are great, buy a few, always handy to have some spare for guests. That's the basics, after that you will get ideas off others. If you go all out, there are a few extras that make life a bit more comfortable. Don't know your budget, what you have already, and don't know if you will be regular campers (weekend kit is basic compared to two week camp kit), so some stuff on here might be a bit over the top, but here goes lol!
