Open black bags over the s and weigh them down while you get rest of house ready.

When resdy to tsckle gsrden it will all be dead and ready to rotovate.

Enjoy

Mold

"Diesel kills everything and they will never come back so depends where the s are. But if possible use diesel"

Which then poisons the ground

Black coverings, as said above, are the best solution

SBX, unless the garden is FULL of s, in which case use glyphosate-best value being the Doff liquid concentrate sold by Home Bargains for £4.99. You'll need a sprayer (5 litre from Wilkinsons, about £7). Spray, then wait 7 days, spray again. After 14 days everything sprayed will be brown.

Spray on a windless day, otherwise you will not be best friends with your neighbour.
