Sorry, I know this is a bit random, but does anyone know of any off-road cycle trails in north Wales?

I'm working south of wrexham and have discovered the towpaths of the Ellesmere, Plas Kynaston and Shropshire Union canals. Also the Llandegla Forest to the west of wrexham.

Converted disused railway lines?? Or am I being too hopeful?

North Wales

Probably not quite what you're after but there's the north Wales cycle path that runs from Prestatyn to Bangor along the coast.

Once you get to Bangor, a lot of the old slate quarry railways have been turned into cycle paths. The main one runs from Penrhyn port in Bangor into Bethesda and beyond.

Coed y Brenin near Wereham is one of THE places to go offroading

There's also great trails around the Ffestiniog and the ZipWorld site.

Into Cheshire and Delamere Forest has some good rides too
