Rainbows End

Anyone off somewhere really nice this year? Been looking about for a reasonably priced week or 10 days somewhere hot but single travellers seem to get stitched up by single supplements making the cost shoot through the roof . Grateful for any sensible ideas lol

I fucking hate this & when you look for companies selling holidays for singles it's just a mobile knocking shop, like taking the worst of this site with you I'd welcome sensible ideas as well X

I went to Turkey on my own last year. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I'm a sun worshipper so could lay in the sun and read my book and not have to consider anyone else. The holiday wasn't mega expensive either. I found the holiday online and went in to a local agent. Asked them if they could match it or get it any cheaper. I got it cheaper and had some other perks too

Delete your cookies every time if booking on line otherwise they know you're interested and the price keeps going up...do as sexymama did and you can meet whilst there. Fab is international

We are lucky in that we have a house on one of the Greek Islands so price wise it's just flights and spending money..

As above I went on line and booked a three week holiday to Corfu no single supplement for £647 which is a fair price.

i cant go abroad anymore cos of medical equipment io need at night so i just book lodges and caravans in uk and hope weather is not too bad . i think single supplements are mean discrimination i think it is

New granddaughter means that this year I'm spending time being a proud grandfather and not going abroad. A week in centerparcs near them and family stuff for me.

Well sorry my ex had to have medocal equpiment at night as well. We took it abroad with us. Its merely only a matter of letting the airline know beforehand. No great hardship at all
