I been wondering this for a while now and I am wondering what swinging actualy means to people. I know what it means to me and that is making friends with like minded people and having N.S.A fun with those friends if you you and your friends feel like it with no consequences.

But what i really want to know is what does swinging really mean to you.

Its about having sexy naughty fun in a way which is difficult in the "real" life. Often a separate part to your life for that very reason. As for many on here discretion is key. Its not always about quantity though it is for some, for me its about quality, clicking with a few like minded people that you build a certain level of trust and respect with that enables you to push the boundaries that still makes you feel safe, but sexually cherished! it also means you get to make some awesome likeminded friends whom you may never play with - but without this site whom you may never have met!! For some people this is their whole life, for others its a fun part of it but not the be all and end all.

We are about 15 mins outa Pontypridd and we do go to Crawley in west sussex 2-3 times a year so get in touch !!

The single biggest surprise for us with regard to this lifestyle is the diversity in what it means to different people.

We had a preconception that couldn't have been more innaccurate.

For us, "swinging" was simply getting together with like minded couples, if mutually attracted, progress to explore each others hidden desires and boundaries in a safe, unpressured, discrete environment.

Our experience is limited to this site, but we definitely feel like we are in the minority regarding what we are looking for.

The site caters well for the majority but in our opinion "swinging" as we defined it, is not what most people are here for.

Ok that is another thing that I am wondering about some posts have said about being discrete. Now to me that is not saying who your meeting with to anyone as I believe that is between you and the person your meeting with. When my profile was shown I only ever put social meets up. So what I am wondering now is what does discretion mean to you

Discretion for us is more based around the environment or location than the individuals. We just imagined people would act according to their surroundings and keep the fun in the bottle until we have some privacy.

For this one i did some research and googled it!!! Here is what I found!

A person who engages freely in promiscuous sex.

A member of a couple, especially a married couple, who exchanges sexual partners.

Whilst these apply to some people the old attitudes towards swinging has changed, had I been around in the 70s I would pop into a suburban house with my hubby he would drop his keys in the bowl and i would go off with the man that picked them...to be honest that why I joined was gonna try and nick someones Mercedes!!!

I believe as swinging has become more socially acceptable so has the social side of swinging, with people able to throw parties and make friends and have some great sex along the way..... and well I think its great. There are people who don't want to party and just want to meet this is also fine. If your mature enough to decide you want to swing your mature enough to know which way you want to do it. I have made lots of friends a long the way and some I have played with and some I havn't some through choice and some through not having enough time in the day!

Onto the second point Discretion

I think that whilst I say swinging has become socially acceptable it is still taboo which makes it all the more exciting! But means that discretion is a must at all times! Now whilst I choose to leave verifications for people and show them! I have met people who prefer not to show them or leave them which is fine for me as I think most people know me! I think that the old adage kiss and tell is a good one to go by whether it be in the swingers community or in the real world so If someone asks for total discretion then my lips are sealed ( Please note this last note does not apply to married men or men cheating on their GFs I don't meet them to start with!!)

To us it means taking risks...thats why we stick to Cam fun.

We are also a little shy and not too confident in ourselves ..and that seems a prerequisit.

Why are we here then?...because swingers, in the main...well the ones on here anyway seem nice people who dont judge people...good company
