Basque

I realise this isn't a buy and sell site, however I recently made an error in a purchase of a basque on eBay and silly me, I didn't notice that it was non returnable. The basque is too big for me to wear and I've taken it to see if I can get it altered (fun conversation there ) and sadly it's not. I'm a size 16/18 and this piece is a 18/20.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing it from me? I have pics of it on Kik and the tags are still attached, it's an unused item as far as I undid the hooks, tried it on, swore at my mistake and took it back off again. I did pay £53.98 for it (type eBay CQ1429 if you'd like the detail and what it looks like on) I'm only asking £40 because it was my stupid mistake.

I also apologise if this is not the place to do this

Could you message the seller and ask for a smaller size?

"shame it only an 18/20"

It's a light stretch material so I think it could go bigger and look lovely on

"Could you message the seller and ask for a smaller size? "

I already tried this option and they'd quite happily sell me a smaller size however they won't refund the one I ordered, I can't afford 2 lol

That's a pain, not like they are losing money.

Too right the OP has rights. Distance Selling Act. If the size bought normally fits then issue with their sizing.

Open a case via PayPal & you'll get your refund, I've had 100% success over the years. Word of warning, I had a week forum b*n for asking if anyone wanted someone that didn't fit

Thank you for all your responses, it's my own fault for picking the wrong size.

I didn't realise I could get a ban for this thread

To the powers that be, it was not my intent to break any rules, sorry
