I block people in this way as it saves having the awkward situation where you have already messaged and sent pics but have been declined.

Because many can't take no for an answer.

Being blocked is a good thing, you know then not to bother with that profile

Person may know you and don't want you to keep messaging etc etc ?

I'll always repond even if its a 'no thanks'... but dont forget, blocking removes them from your update feed, which kinda makes sense if you know its not going to happen

It's ofter easier to do so if you're inundated, as many of the women are, and also prevents abuse from those who don't take rejection well

If you look at the site FAQ it's a recommended approach

As others have said, it's not considered rude on fab.

And as for them not sending pics back. Why would they if they're not interested in meeting?

maybe they don't want to give you their face picture as they might not/don't find you attractive.. and when you do send it, they definitely don't: so rather than have to explain themselves, they just block and move onto the next? Harsh, but true

"I understand what your saying but a no thanks not my type then block them would be better. Not all us men are dickhead mind. "

Here here !! I get that you don't have to reply and I also get that some blokes are knobs ..but first the select few that aren't a simple no thanks means a lot ..I appreciate it's nobody is obliged to do it and females get loads of email due to the ratio but at least you know if the woman has actually read the message rather than just delete

don't quite understand what difference it makes whether they read and delete or just delete ,is still a clear indication that there's no interest but just for everyone's info if you look at your sent msgs and the whole box is still yellow but says deleted then the msg was unread ,if its white then it's read then deleted

We've been blocked by quite a few lol but never took it personally. The most amusing was a single male who called our profile "bullshit and most likely a single guy".

It was funny because the day after our first veri we were unblocked and messaged by the same guy asking for a meet. Lol

"Read the rules on Fab, check the million other threads where this has been whinged about & toughen up, you might just survive then X"

Taken from FAQ

There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!

It's not rude not to reply.

Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

It saves either of you wasting their time if one party isn't interested. It isn't rude not to reply or to block for that matter. Bit of a thicker skin my be needed op

I only have 4 people on my block list. Ive met them and dont like them.

I do see why others block if they dont want to meet someone though.

Exactly as this gorgeous lady said....I get the same people messaging time and time again even after I've said no, and usually it's the same copy / paste message as before. If I block its to save them and me the time and effort xx

If we'd asked for a face pic and the person wasn't what we were looking for then we'd have the decency to respond with a polite message to let them know.

Simple for us,if you don't read our full profile or are rude we block. If people can't be arsed then we can't.

When the message sentiment is of fustration, with an unreasonable. ..... "I can accommodate NOW" - 150 Miles away, from a self professed submissive, wanting to be abused, the most humane thing to do, in my opinion; wish them luck and block 'em, before the whining starts... lol
