I still experience this after a heavy session with Ch3wy & it's been 4 years, but over time I've learnt to expect it & I've developed ways of coping. I'm not always entirely successful & sometimes I'm a little self destructive but I get through. Having firm boundaries, set days for fun & little flexibility helps reduce the impact. You'll find a way through X

Sub drop is basic shock, reached after a session of Bdsm caused by adrenaline rush, can be avoided by correct aftercare treatment given by the master/dom , should never leave your sub to go through this if you look on my pics you will se sub drop bear, after a session I give the bear to the sub also dioralite and hot sweet tea replacing salts and sugars taken away by the adrenaline. aftercare should be available after all sessions, of any Bdsm play alcohol will increase the risk so tea. And sympathy is the answer delayed sub drop can be dangerous and lead to death. As in any shock the definition of shock is the lack of circulating oxygen to the body and tissues. Any bondage practiced by the untrained can lead to kidney failure. Impact play in the wrong areas of the body can and does cause percussion injuries torn kidneys. It's ok to play but do it safe I'll help anyone who wants to learn. I would be glad to meet in club bizarre in Swansea, or at my home for non penatrative training. Please be safe

I'm very experienced & practice all those things after a hard session but this is the first time I've been emotionally involved with the person so whilst I'm good with the physical aftercare, the emotional side is had to manage at times. It's good to see a thread that's interesting

Thanks everyone for all the advice and help

For me it hit the evening after we'd played, probably because I'd spent the morning/afternoon with family and hadn't had time to drop.

Luckily I have a great support network and one of my friends noticed I seemed "off" and dragged me round to their house, food, tv and cuddles on the sofa with the cat and him and I felt alot better.

This had been my first big one and I think that was due to it being the first "scene" I had done in a while and probably one of the hardest I've done.

Yeah I'm very aware of what shock can do to your body, having experienced severe shock before. It's not pleasant.

Directly after we'd played I had chocolate and hugs and a bath. I felt fine. Woke up the next morning and had a ton of stuff to do. It was once I'd stopped that it hit.

Thank you for your concern

I have seen it and experienced it as a Dom as well. First serious play was prepared for sub drop after care etc. Then on the drive home had the drop. Completely unexpected. Had to stop and phone a friend who knew what was going on. Thanks to thier support I was ok.

Biggest advice if a Dom doesn't discuss after care with you as a sub don't play. Decent ones will check in on you later as well if they aren't with you

No problem advice is free and if I can help anyone in the scene to keep it safe I will. it's a seiriose thing in my life and each reported incident leads to laws that can lead to restrictions being imposed be safe all

An example of delayed shock your body was pos hypoglycaemic low sugar after working hence the need for dioralite .

Biggest advice it's not a game it's a seirious dynamic can cause mental and physical stress. you don't wake up one day and decide your a dom. I'm not having a go at anyone in particular just saying learn the scene know your limits go to Bdsm clubs ask Bdsm doms and subs for information ask the dungeon masters for advice we are there to keep things safe. No one knows it all we all learn. Best to start at the beginning I offer free first aid courses for any person in the scene teach them how to recognise signs and symptoms. Of many scene related problems just be safe

Thanks Warren no you don't just decide but after months of talking it was a major play scene I had done some minor stuff before. Another Dom was with me and she is an experience sub and I was no where near her level at that point... since have played a few times with her and even got her to sub space and stopped impact because although she wanted more didn't think it was in her best interest. Safety always comes first my subs before mine
