a fake profile

Beware everyone

I've had a fake profile made

With my facebook pic and my name age and where I live set up last night

Luckily for me good friends noticed it and reported it as fake

So was taken down within 30mins

But 30 mins us still to long

I've reported it to admin but not even had a reply

which I'm very disappointed in this has seriously made me think is it worth staying

I'm not looking for sympathy but please be careful

I'm absolutely gutted

And don't know what to do

This is obviously someone that knows me here and are either friends on facebook or found me on there

We had one of our photos from here taken and posted on Facebook along with it being sent to our friends and family. The man question claimed he was the man in the picture and that I was having an affair with him. The man was actually Cream in the photo with me.

This is quite worrying and saddening.

It's not always done intentionally tho. If you've given out your number and your number has been linked to your Facebook account you show up in friends suggestions.

I use kik on here mostly only certain people I give my number out too

If I think who it was I'm not friends with them on facebook and like snow said if you give someone your number then it links with facebook sometimes

it's sad to think people enjoy ruining others lives

To be fair you can't be sure it was even somebody off fab... Could have been somebody from that boring vanilla world we were all once part of.

We can all be as cautious as we like on here but a simple thing like sending or posting a face pic could be the result of the same thing.

I don't think there is any safe way to take communication away from fab - pros and cons with everything.

Just keep your chin up Milly, don't let any bastard grind you down, one thing for sure is you have a lot of friends who have your back when somebody is being malicious and like last night the profile was gone before it was live for 30 mins.

I'd still report it to the police just in case anything further happens can I be there if you have to explain you're on here?!?!

I promise I'll only laugh a few times at most

My naughty number goes nowhere near my fab but I find I still get the suggestions because it links via what's app. I just go through & block you all, blocked you last night Snow

This is why fab and stalkbook should never NEVER!!!!! mix I keep saying it and no one takes any notice, and never link your phone number/email to stalkbook.

You need to take care of the images you post, once you make them public they are public.

Images are NOT safe, they CAN and WILL be stolen. There is not much the admin/ webmaster can do apart to protect the images you upload, beyond reasonable/ required legal control.

If there are cases of people posting images from here then posted onto said book website then it "should" cover the revenge porn legislation brought in last year.

i had similar done on here with my phone no given,i informed the police they with their clever ppl found out who the perpetrator was and they was charged. get the cops in love xxx cos its frightening

o do understand what your saying but the pic that was put up was not on here it was a picture on facebook not a friend on facebook

so it's someone I've given my number to that I've actually met

they had my full name my town and a face pic up

Some get off on revenge shit and it's just pretty damn childish.

I'd get it reported to the police because they will take it seriously - nobody deserves to have their face splattered on something they don't want it to be on.

This is why we all use discretion!

And generally if you have a hunch who it could be it's generally right.
