England are such know massive under achievers in major tournaments

Let's hope they pull it back and give their fans something to cheer for. Might aswell make all the arrests, carnage and law breaking behaviour at least a little bit worth it

Wales were the first British team to have win their first game in round one.

I agree it is still very open and early days

I feel sorry for the Engish but it was such a well created goal for Russia

Problem with England is that they often just expect to turn up and progress and that rarely actually happens but after decades of the same attitude they never ever learn

This should bring them back down with a thud and hopefully get them to pull their fingers out

It was obviously from first half they weren't going to win

They just danced around the pitch making loads of mistakes

But hopefully this will make them up their game

Wales were very good and took there chances, England also played very well and should have scored a hat full, looking forward to Thurs afternoon now and also good luck to Northern Ireland.

Most of whom have to hand their passports over to the police

I personally know a few of the arseholes and I think they should just be locked up during the games to make it easier

It's utterly humiliating

And it has gone on for decades

Thing is a time will come in the future when they will ban England fans from major tournaments alltogether

And yes they will do it eventually as it is ruining the sport unfortunately for the majority of decent fans

I just think if you can afford to fork out that amount of cash to go and watch England play in a major tournament abroad

Then you should be of a reasonable enough standard of behaviour to not be arrested en mass

It was Russian and French fans as well. There just isnt any need for it. Enjoy the game. You dont get this sort of violence and behaviour in other sports. Its the minor few ruining it. Plus the high media coverage doesnt help!!!

I was sent a copy of an article

Where Russian and English fans had been messaging about meeting up to fight

The people involved are well known thugs who have to surrender their passports every time the games are on

And I'm glad someone realises it's not just the English

The small minority of English football hooligans are notorious for ruining it for the majoritiy of genuine English fans at major international tournaments and have done so for many years

It is a terrible shame Lush as most England fans can't then enjoy the game without getting tarred with the same brush

I have genuine sympathy with the proper England fans who have to tolerate such behaviour of their counterparts

I guess that's ok thou as he didn't hit him

And we shouldn't talk about them things lol

It makes me not want to take my kids to a game thou in fear of this sort of stuff

Unfortunately the small minority of England football fans have caused absolute mayhem abroad at major tournaments for years

You're talking multiple arrests time and time again

It is in no way a slur on the genuine fans and shouldn't be either

It is just a small hardcore holligan minority who will continue to use the sport as an excuse for mindless violence

And I personally back any steps the authorities take the stop it

They are two totally different games

My kids play both

Rugby is far more technical

Football is so much quicker, free flowing

I adore both.

That's the beauty of sport

Alot of this violence and racism is usually fuelled by alcohol, plus u always get one that wants to pick a fight. I think they will stop alcohol as these events/tournaments before long

The main reason I wouldn't take my kids to football is the language, lack of respect from fans and players towards officials and the disgusting vile chants

Tbh don't usually much violence inside the ground
