So, looking for people's opinions on this one, and maybe those who may have had the same or similar experiences.

Just to set the scene... I'm a mum, my time is precious so to go on a meet I need to make arrangements.

I arrange a meet. The guy in question has seen my fab pics, face pics, more pics, videos etc etc... Been talking a while.

The meet time arrives, I'm waiting somewhere, he drives past. He then turns around and drives off. Only when I messaged him to see where he was ( so he may not of even said anything ) did he say That he did turn up just I was nothing at all like my pics.

So... Would you just drive off? Or would you stop and maybe be polite and just say? Go just for a social meet but nothing more?

Seriously fucked me off!!!!

Well I have been throo this myself where I've met up with someone and really didn't think it was the same person :-/ regardless though I didn't shoot off I still went ahead with the meet and on the other hand I've also turned up to a meet, very recently and was told I looked different from my pics but in a better way! Lol pics shud never make someones mind up straight away as the camera can lie either for the good or the bad.

Lucky escape i say lovely...if that is what he is like then i'd not have wanted to get to know him any more!!

I've had a few meets with people i wouldn't play with, that also goes for guys who are physically attractive but literally zero chemistry, works both ways. Having said this, no it doesn't hurt to be polite and have a chat/drink and etiquette should dictate that you finish the job no matter what the outcome!!

As somebody else said above, in all likelihood he bottled it. There are a lot of fantasists on here, who love the idea of a meet: they go through the process, chatting, exchanging pics, but when it actually comes to it...

Don't stress on it, though it will have been a major piss off. There are gen people on the site, and you'll find them. Enjoy your swinging, with real swingers xx

This is typical of a immature self centred guy. Ok, you may not look exactly like your photos, We all spruce ourselves up to a certain extent when taking them. ie, guys breath in, women sometimes push their breasts together etc etc. but, the content of your messages must have been very inviting for him to want to meet you. Yes even if when you meet sometimes yku go they look better in thier pics you are both there you have both made the effort. Always go for a coffee / chat then see how you both feel when you knw each other better....

Happened to me a little while back. Was off the cuff do was only a brief few messages but the person who turned up was either a different person to the pic or the pic was taken some time ago. Fortunately I had not gotten out of the car. I drove off and then messaged him to say why. No way should you feel obliged to give someone your time if they have got you there under false pretences. It's rude and stupid

In relation to pics.... I find pics can be deceptive of size. I look a lot slimmer in my pics than in person hence why I make my dress size and the fact that I'm a chubster clear on my profile so if men have an issue with it it's clear from the outset. I dunno if this may have been an issue maybe?? As a lot of females look smaller in their pics than in person due to the angles the pics are taken at. Not that I am saying you're a chunk or anything. Fuck anyone got a shovel for me to keep digging

I think weve all probably had meets where we havent clicked with the other person or they havent clicked with us.

You just have to be honest and polite and say sorry not for me.

What he did was gutless but from all the comments Clit Girl has had in this post I dont think shell be short of guys who want to meet her.

I do agree with MissP too though.

Ive looked at peoples profiles and pics and when Ive meet them think they dont look much like there pics.

This is why I always arrange to meet socially with no expectations, if both agree that things should move on that's great but I wouldn't have driven away.

A drink and a chat then if he didn't want things to go further he could at least tell you.

I'm willing to bet the guy was married or has a partner/girlfriend. His bottle went once he saw you.

As someone who has held greedy girl nights on and off for about ten years, it is my conservative guess that around 80% of the "single" guys on here, aren't infact single at all.The amount of times I have been let down by idiots because their aforementioned wife/girlfriend/partner won't let them out for the occasion is phenomenal!

My advice would be to go along to a social and meet guys face to face. Plenty of genuine guys attend these events and I'm sure there will be several who catch your eye

We agree. Quite often shocked when we meet people in "real life" at how they differ from what you imagine them to look like. Pictures can be very misleading.

In saying that, specifying dress size wouldn't be much better, as it varies so much in terms of how a woman carries it.
