Moment you chat when you chat with someone who aint got a pic so you both show each other via message , but they block you instead of saying sorry not my type . Grinds my shit lol

Saves the abuse/questions etc that many women get in response to a "no thanks" reply.

A lot find it easier and a lot less hassle to just instantly block and I don't blame them

I guess , it just not everyone will abuse , just take it on chin an move on . I been knocked back but always polite an say ok thanks for replying and happy fabbing

I'm not sure you'd be saying that if you've had some of the replies we've had when we've done the "polite thing"... I could quote from memory, but a lot of it follows the same vein, they were keen to meet, then suddenly they wouldn't fuck us with a bargepole (and that's the politest version!)

That's true, and it's mostly single guys, which is a shame, because a few spoil it for the majority.

We think we all start on here as polite human beings . We try to respond to every message even to say :" no thank you "

Then you get into endless message strings

Then you get crass crude and illiterate initial messages

Then you get endless why won't you meet strings

Then you get the : your ugly as fuck and I didn't really want to meet you fat cunts anyway . Hope you all get cancer and die messages in response to your No thank you

Add this to 50 plus messages a day on average

And pretty soon your girl / couple / FF couple / triple is hitting the delete and block button instead of saying : No thanks and wondering if Fab is really a good thing to be involved in.

Sad but true

Oh and we forgot the fact that 95 percent of messages are also from people who have clearly NOT read your profile at all and are the utter antithesis of what you clearly state that you wish to meet !

After endless messages where people can't respect your wishes, time and courtesy wears thin

All so very true & the reason the usual norms re politeness don't apply here much of the time. In real life, in a bar for example we wouldn't accept some of the requests or comments that fall through our inboxes every moment of the day, why should we accept them & be "polite" on here. It's our profile & we deem the rules & how it should run X

That's very true ! Many messages would result in the police being called or the door staff intervening if they were made in a normal face to face social setting . Don't get us wrong , we would like to respond to all messages and be utterly polite but it is just impossible . Delete and block becomes a mere self defence mechanism ,

If we put a meet up and people have clearly read what we're looking for then we reply even if it's a no thanks.. never really had any abuse.

If we get the usual hi message when our profile clearly states we're not looking then we just ignore.
