Cardiff social - Ideas

Right as you all know, I'm planning a regular Cardiff social - I want it to be a bit different.

Obviously budget is a big concern of any social as there are costs for entertainment etc and those attending it can be an expensive night too.

So to make the first social a bit different I'm thinking about a theme that's both affordable and realistic to the masses.

I'm thinking a masquerade party!

Masks start at £1 on eBay so hardly bank busting.

Or anybody else think of any other ideas?

Totally open to suggestion because socials are run for guests to enjoy so ideas most welcome

Haha if the Masked Ball was anything to go by, they'll all stay on for all of five minutes, haha. What about a specific colour theme?

Haha, yes that's the usual story but was just an idea as it tends to attract a certain type of attire too.

I've thought about a black and white party and lots more.

One sex has locks, one has keys and you have to go around finding who you match up with. Gets people socialising with people you might not have talked with before
