The OP has actually asked a very good question and if single men answered truthfully the results would be interesting.

I'd hazard a guess tho and say the majority thought it would be wall to wall pussy, the women are desparate and the men get frustrated being knocked back by women who they think should be grateful for their attention.

With the exception of a minority of respectful single guys on here - I'm sorry but the majority join being deluded to what this website is about.

This was my point in starting the thread.

And I stand firm, the majority turn into whining little bitches when they can't get what they want.

And I'm not just talking about the 'het

exible' who run from females to guys when they don't find what they want.

I'm here more for the social side, hence why I guess i've done ok here compared to some. yes single guys have got to realise it's not instashag and start being more respectful.

but it's not just the guys there are some very very disrespectful couples and single fems here with some very unrealistic demands imho.

When we give a no thanks answer I would say over 90% reply with 'thanks for the reply' type message, we get as many rude replies from couples as we do single men.

I joined and expected more than what I've got out of it. I wouldn't dream of sending someone abuse if I didn't get a reply, it's not in my nature. I think the majority have spoilt it for the minority which is a big shame. My next adventure i think needs to be a club just a bit shy lol

Never expected anything but used to have lots of fun. Dead in the water now but I think that's cause I don't spend much time on as I did. Never sent a horrible message and never received one I can recall. Used to get a few thanks but no thanks but they have dried up as well. No expectation and the odd laugh is good!

Q1. I had no expectations that I'd be beating woman off with a stick but my reasons for this over a dating site is

If someone was interested in the profile then at least we both knew from the get go that we could openly discuss what is was we were on here for and into etc

As opposed to me meeting a girl on a dating site making out I'm romeo for a few dates before having to break it to her that I'm actually a massive pervert that wants to do some strange things to her and probably her mate too!

Overall I think the people of Fab are a great bunch. Obviously as with all walks of life you get lazy people who put in far less effort & expect much more, but our time on here has exceeded our expectations of humanity in general. Always keep an open mind. I think of it as a social experiment

I joined as a single guy after splitting up with my ex. We had swung as a couple and I enjoy the freedom to make friends and indulge in some fun from time to time.

I've been lucky enough to make some great friends on here, male/female/couples.

Respect is earnt and if you show respect, I find its reciprocated

There are a handful of rare gems on here however so I exclude them completely from this.

Too many think it's a free for all no matter what as when I'm polite enough to say thanks but not thanks,

I have been here quite a while and had no meets. Messaged a few but in most cases no reply. I am in no rush and certaunly wouldnt send abuse to anyone.

However, I do think the number of single men who are abusive makes many women and couples very wary. I dont blame them to be honest.

Personally Fab has been fantastic from my point of view ! It's gratis and is by far the best swingers site on the internet bar none. But it depends what you want ! I've been on this site on and off for 2 years, and still not got a meet sorted. In fact, I've only had proper chats with a few people on here.

I don't get angry or upset about it though. Someone deletes your message, or messages back saying you're not their type, then just move on! It's nothing personal and there's no reason to get angry/upset.

So to answer your question, what did I expect? I expected to make some friends and maybe have some fun with them. Have I yet? Nope, but it doesn't deter me from trying.

I'm not whining about single guys whining, from my personal experience I've found the majority of single guys on here get so pissy when you reject them, that and expect just because you're online you're up for a fuck and just fuck anything because you're on here.

Yes there are a handful of decent and guys on here, I'd say the majority that attend socials etc and use the site correctly but there really are a lot of creepy whining guys who's expectations of this site are all wrong.

If you're a decent guy you've no need to be offended, or unblock single guys for a day and you'll see exactly what I'm on about... Actually I dare you

Its easy to spot the single guys who are cheeters and non genuine. The majority of them are online from abut 6.30pm to 8.30. Then back online at 10.30 for a 1. 1/2hrs. These times are when their wifes/partners are watching the "soaps". They have no intention of meeting or, very few have. Its just away of for filling their fantasy. The same goes really for females and couples but to a lesser extent. Its a case of online porn instead of reading magazines. Just use the block button, get on with your search and, show respect when you do messsage

I accept I'm way down the list of preferences that most women are looking for in single guys. That's life and I accept that. I'm on this site to view pics, as well as possibly to arrange meets via messages.

I've always found going to clubs and engaging in some old fashioned socialising is far more productive than messaging. Apart from a few flirtatious banter conversations on Fabs, only one meet has happened.

Any message deleted, unread, or read and not replied to, I block the profile and move on. Women are inundated with messages, and unsurprisingly, are very picky. I regularly review why I'm on the scene and consequently hide my profile regularly. I'm live at present.

- occasional meets with people of either the same persuasions or interesting individuals with something new to explore

- by and large yes. I've been and gone a number of times on here and, as a single guy, meets aren't as easy to arrange as they are for a couple or single woman, but if you're polite and respectful it's not impossible.

- this is the bit I want to stick up for *some* single guys. Yeah sure, there are plenty of eejits, but that's the same on pretty much any site you choose to visit. This seems an unnecessarily antagonistic comment, so for balance, not all of us do descend into being 'whining little bitches' and this may be something to do with the OP as much as the co-respondents.

- again, you could go on pretty much any website and find awful messages, from men, women, couples, farmyard animals and aliens. It's what happens online (unfortunately). Seems a bit deliberate to single out 'single men' in this case and comes across like the OP is banging a particular drum (so to speak).

I expected to make contact with like minded people who probably didn't live in my area. I did not expect to hook up with anyone until I had been a member for a while and had chatted socially with a number of people, to interact not to sit back and expect the offers for sex to come flooding in,

As for sex meets, I was hoping to meet couples for fun but open to 1 on 1 with either sex, but mainly my reason to join was to get out there and meet swinging couples, not just for sex purposes but to be able to chat freely about anything we might mutually enjoy.
