Well it's official we the British people finally get the chance to vote to stay or leave the EU I'm a out voter it's time to take control of our own Destiny and not be controlled by unelected officials in Europe!!

Stay, those unelected officials (mep's are actually elected) are the only thing keeping working rights such as maternity, sick pay and the right to form unions which those unelected (by Wales) assholes in England (Torres ukip) want to take from us.

EU isn't holding back the uk, but it is holding back the special interests of the ultra wealthy who want to further enrich themselves at our expense.

We will be the first, but not the last.

The EU will fall apart, other countries will see us doing quite well thank you very much outside the EU, and they will want that too.

Time to take back control of our borders, our fisheries, our agricultural policy, our immigration policy and the 11 BILLION a year that being in the EU costs us (that's around 33 million A DAY!).

Undecided at the moment.

We put more money in than we get out of the EU. But areas of Wales have benefited from EU funding. I'm not sure if we leave I would trust our government to spend extra money in the poorer areas of Wales.

TTIP worries me, more power to big business and corporations.

Can see small businesses getting sued for effecting their profits and they will move into the NHS.

Out for Stig. The only thing that would make me change my mind is a total re-organisation of the european commission (who are appointed not elected)to limit their power. The european parliament is a toothless talking shop who defer to the commission over all major decisions.

Most the MEPS are Unelected by the British people my friend and Wales has been led by Welsh Labour, since the beginning of the Welsh assembly. Most the money Wale's receives from Europe is spent on vanity projects such as theaters, arts and flower pots in pontypool, whilst Europe has killed our fisheries, steel,and filled our factory's with eastern block migrants whilst many of our young are struggling to find work.

Its out for me.

As stated before. The EU leader is appointed and not voted in...all very cloak n dagger.

The government says by giving us control of our country will alienate us from some European countries...but WAIT ! We are the biggest importer of thier goods...

So they want to loose our business do they ????

I have to say I'm quite conflicted.

My wife is romanian and consequently my kids are in the middle just like me.

Having said that. The estimate is.

Within 40 years the UK population will double, to around 140 million.

It may be true. It may not.

Statistics are easy to quote.

But I want a future for my kids and I don't see anything convincing from Mr Cameron that will change my children's future.

So I'm bordering on out.

Talk about sit on the fence.

I work in the steel industry and it kills me to see our prime minister shake hands with the Chinese, when they're flooding Europe with cheap steel and laying off thousands of men.

But that's another subject.

Out, We can still deal an trade with the EU but there will be an import duty. We pay the EU hundreds of millions each day, one offset against the other should see a lot of money saved to spend on the NHS and Education...

Yes but this whole thing has been him pandering to the eurosceptics in his own ranks and to stop haemorrhaging votes to UKIP.

I used to be anti EU, but having studied eu structures and judgements (for other reasons) and read the agendas of those politicians pushing for us to leave have gone 180.

Most of the arguments such as leave to reduce immigrants and benefits etc often site UK as a soft touch... Well if that is the EU then why is it not the same for France etc?

Is it really Brussels at fault or something closer to home?

If we want self determination then we should really be seeking independence from the UK also. Personally I am pro UK and Pro EU.

Whilst ever closer union may put off some, I think as an average citizen my quality of life would be higher where the EU charter of fundamental rights was in effect than where an Etonian elite had free reign to run amok.

Just look at their plans for storing your internet history and the attacks within the trade union bill to see how much they care for your liberty and ability for self determination....

Exactly. I can understand people in leafy Surrey questioning how much we contribute versus how much we get back, but the poorer areas of the UK have received huge sums from Europe to help regenerate and attract investment.

Would the UK governments have channelled such resources into helping these areas? Some would have certainly left Wales and other areas to the complete mercy of the free-market.

Whatever else you say about the EU, it's regional policy had been a source of help to areas struggling to cope with the affects of de-insutrialisation.

My politics have moved to the right somewhat as I've got older, but I don't see leaving Europe helps free us from control and exploitation by the powerful and global economic/political forces.

"If we leave our trade will suffer with Europe". Ummm why? Only a very low percentage, (single figures), of uk businesses actually trade with Europe. In fact most countries that are outside the EU deal more with Europe than we do. Only the top couple of hundred of our very largest businesses deal with Europe and not the other 96% of UK businesses which is the average man/woman in the street run companies that wouldn't notice the difference. You'll probably find that most of the MP's that want to stay in the EU have very nicely payed side jobs on boards with companies that benefit from it.

"Our security will suffer!". Ummmm why? We are a member of NATO which is a totally separate entity to the EU and also has non EU members already so no change. Our security intelligence agreements will NOT suffer as most off our intelligence is due to cooperation with non EU countries. Eg: USA, Canada, Australia. On this I speak with personal inside knowledge.

Criminals that are prosecuted by uk law can go abroad and get it overturned by EU courts and get off. WTF!!!

It may take another 20 years but the EU will collapse. It's already started. Get out now and don't go down with it.

Could go on but probably bored you all already. Sorry that was longer than I intended lol.
