FabSwingers.com forum: Struggling to get a kick/buzz

Recently I am finding I am struggling to get the same excitement from Fab that I used to. I guess it's normal when you've been doing something so long for the novelty to wear off slightly. Even when I have days to myself with no kids and no work I can't really be arsed to meet. I still love the socials and love the friends I have made through the site so don't really want to leave. I have tried dating but I can't. Any advice guys on how I can get the old thrill back??

I was feeling the same miss P

until recently I made the effort to meet a guy and

Was so glad I did restored my mojo

Again and feeling it much better now

Maybe go for someone you wouldn't normally go for

And make an effort to go hopefully things will get bk on track

Likewise to the social side and friends also xxx

Ditto! Love the social stuff and clubs but finding couples is VERY hard work so I've definitely lost the buzz.

I think after being on here so long (9+ years) I've been there and done it all, so nothing on here really excites me these days

In all seriousness though, I think it's usually inextricably linked to general mood.

How are you feeling in general?

I know when I'm even the slightest bit down I could happily be a monk for the rest of my life. The minute I feel a bit positive and perky I'm like a 15 year old in a strip club.

It's only the socials and friends I have here that keeps me on here I think.

Meeting isn't what it used to be - all too much drama and messing around.

Ditto for me, to the extent I've deleted my single profile & just doing the couple thing for now. Not because I have any desire to be exclusive or have a relationship merely because meeting 1:1 doesn't excite me anymore & getting to a place with someone who understands what I like, when & how takes more effort than I'm willing to invest. I get that with this person & that's as complicated as I can cope with for now. I think there comes a time for all of us when we need to take a break & rest the soul a bit. Still loving the clubs, the parties & the social events

The site has great highs but terrible lows sometimes it gets so frustrating and you just think sod it all, but remember the good friends and the meets that make it worthwhile.

Take some time to remember why you joined and what you wanted to do and go and do a to do list and start it again.

I think that slowly it dawns that sex is a very powerful driving force, but alas it's only a minute part of life and what can really make you happy.

Sure that quick thrill can seem fabulous but in the grand scheme of things we all need more deep and meaningful existence.

Take up a past time involving other and make the most of your strengths and develop. Good luck.

I'm loving my break off fab..me and Scott are exploring each other and enjoying us time... when we fancy some fun we'll hit a club or host a party and it will all be exciting again ..

Fab is addictive..and I come on once a day or every few days to browse forums..why.don't you have a little break? Coming back then is all exciting I promise xx
