What's the best excuse you have had for someone not turning up

when i first joined i had a meet arranged with this guy when he didn't turn up i thought oh well time waster and went out on the piss with the girls instead when i got home i had a message on my phone saying sorry i couldn't make it i won a toy on ebay it was really important that i drive to manchester to get it lol he was a big star wars fan i did meet him for a social after but yeah lets just say never again mrs

That they saw me through the pub window and thought I was too good looking c'mon at least make it believable

Mother passed away

Turned out was right

My bad thought they wouldn't be on here in a state of grieving
