I seem to be getting a lot of unwelcome post from charities (more than usuall). It's obviously designed to make you feel guilt at this time of year.

My solution is to send all the junk back in the prepaid envelopes or just bin it.

I do give to charities but only to the ones I want and when I want.

What do other fabbers do?

I have one or two charities I give to regular

The rest goes in the recycling

I have my specific charities I give to for personal reasons anything else is junk mail / nuisance call

Shred the lot. I donate all my stuff to local shelters and any fundraising is for them. Charity begins at home.

I regularly gift-aid loads of stuff to the PDSA (poor people need pets too!) and buy a ton of stuff from charity shops these days.

On top of that I donate to Woodland trust and am a member of the National Trust :D

Plus other random bits.

Stuff through the mail goes straight into the shredder.

We donate to a cancer trust and the childrens kidney unit down the heath hospital as oyr son recives so much care from there x

Once you have done the gift aid/direct debit... they will pass your details round and ask you to donate more and more. The charities are happy to outsource collecting. The get a bit more, but the ones husserl ingredients also get a slice.

Big news a few months ago. Just give anonymously as and when you want.

With junk mail, I just get the first one and put it in the second one's envelope, and so on, well if they want mail, just keep doing it.

I give to barnardos, but the pushy marketing from many charities bothers me because of the pressure it puts on vulnerable people.

Not very nice but it's called a suckers list once your on it you won't get left alone spoils it for genuine charities
