So I am once again lying here begging for sleep and once more it evades me. So I was wondering how many other people here suffer with insomnia, and do you have anything other than pills that help you to sleep.

Try and find a body scan meditation or similar. Generally knocks me out in under quarter of an hour. Bonus is that if it doesn't put you to sleep, you'll at least feel relaxed and a bit more refreshed...

If you find answers let me know, work nights and nigh on impossible to get decent sleep, usually sleep for 45 mins- hr at a time

I work a mix of nights and days which totally fucks up my sleep pattern. I used to drink to help me sleep but that just used to make me feel like shit when I got up so now I just kind of hardly sleep altho every so often my body will give up and I will have a tidy kip

That's my pattern, every 4to5 days I'll totally crash & manage 8 hours. Seems to work for me most the time x

Pills and I don't get on. I used to have afew drinks but it was getting rediculos.

nothing works for me....... good session in the gym helps a little..... just wait for body to say enough is enough and sleep

I didn't like taking prescribed sleeping meds made me feel groggy in the morning. Got on a lot better with herbal stuff that relaxes you rather than knocks you out
