Are there any other metal heads out there? If so it would be great to get to know you.

It depends what you class as metal. If you mean things like Metallica, Yashin, bullet for my valentine, linkin park and such then I am one of those. Xx

I mean bands like arch enemy, behemoth, iron maiden, Judas priest, old thrash, machine head and I could go on and on. Bullet for my valentine are not my thing. I don't do emo, but each to their own

Big metal fan here, don't really do genres just good music and depends how I feel, real thrash(big 4) too glam, bring it all on!!!!

Maybe it's my age but I find most newer bands bland and boring!!!!

Always thought the biggest problem with metal is the arguing that goes on between metal fans over which bands are good/shit, metal is metal, I had no problem wearing make up and bandanas to a sepultura gig, but others did? Metals an attitude not a genre!!

The bfmv guys I knew when they were kids, they lived in the same village, jj and moose even spent some time showing my son chords on the guitar.

Personally I'm a classic rock guy.

The metal scene was much more accepting of difference, especially compared to mainstream nonsense. But I will admit it has always had a clique especially between glam and anything harder. But there is more and more segregation becoming apart. I have even been told recently by a girl only a few years younger than me. Who was into many of the bands I listen to, that I was too old school due to the fact I still have long hair.

Lol,, that is so typical, ok so I've cut my hair?? But so has hetfeild?? But!! It's getting worse,, yes there's always been the banter between fans, and yes it could get worse at times, but know it's to the point of silly where you have to pick a genre!!! What happened to just being metal!!! It's bad enough having to put up with shit music, without arguing between ourselves!!!

There are now more genres than I can keep up with.
