Hey all. Anyone got planned, or up for arranging, a weekday time social in or around Cardiff sometime soon?

I organise a lunchtime social in Caerphilly but next one isn't until December. As many might say, if you wish to organize one yourself then go ahead. I am sure there would be lots of interest in a Cardiff one.

Sounds good. My thinking is not to book a room or anything, just pick a big pub (plenty of those in Cardiff) and let people know - privately - where & when to meet and see how it goes. Thoughts?

I'm thinking one of the big pubs in Cardiff - Prince of Wales in the city / Terra Nova in the Bay or similar. Would that be good for people or put people off?

Thanks Kitten, and agreed, hence the suggestion. Judging by the responses, both here and private it's going to get one too. Will give it until the weekend for people to feed back here or message privately and then send out a date, time and venue to all those who express interest

So with Halloween passed but Christmas approaching, should this be held in November or better off left until New Year. About 15 expressions of interest, guys, girls & couples, so far

well i dont do cardiff charity ones anymorte dont know about cardiff normal socials but it is very hard to get a nplace to meet so many places closing down

Hi guys. Been busy with work so let this lapse sorry. I'm thinking first week of December to avoid the Christmas crush in the pubs. Will post a date soonest then ask for pvt messages for the location. Lots of interest so should be good and hopefully the start of a regular Cardiff social
