A few single females have been contacted on here by a male profile claiming that he knows our friends and referring to the other girls real names. None of us recognise him from his face photo and TinEye didn't turn up anything.

Just want people to be aware and err on the side of caution.

someone is copying profiles from the site and posting them thru addresses of members and their families who it is we dont know, and i know that from experience

We've done it and nothing.

None of us recognised the photo, worried it could be a certain ex of a friend but that's about it.

It's one reason why I only keep pics public that I wouldn't be overly bothered by people in my vanilla life seeing if some cunt was to behave that way

You see far more flesh on peoples facebook holiday photos than in my pics haha

we keep having facebook asking if we want people we might know as friends .

many are off here.

it has their real names and names of friends, so all you need to know is one person off here and then look at their friends to see others you might know from socials etc.

Just refused to give our location to someone we didn't want to meet and received a reply that says he works on the doors in our local club and if he sees us watch out. It's not just about discretion anymore it's becoming unsafe to say no!

If you have your phone number linked to your Facebook, it suggests people from Fab whose phone number is in your contacts. Best thing is to delete your phone number from Facebook or just kik people rather than what's app / text until you know them really well. I never share my number with strangers. I used to have a naughty pay as you go phone too! Worth considering maybe - especially if you organise parties x

Things that were said don't make sense. Like knowing all of our names from ' Socials' yet I don't go round telling strangers my real name. Also the women involved haven't all been at one social for a while, at least 4/5 months if not more.

Won't be meeting any newbies for a while. Trying not to freak out.

I make sure my phone number isn't entered into Facebook. I've got some Fab people in my phone contacts & they have their numbers linked to their Facebook. They have appeared on my Facebook under "people you may know".. ''Twas a bit of a shock lol but a lesson in making sure nobody can find my details... Take your phone numbers off your Facebook details.
