Ok so I'm curious here if a guy was to message you lovely Welsh ladies or a lady was to message you guys do you look at their veris ? If so are they a deal breaker ? And how serious do you take them ?

I look at profiles and their veris if they are viewable. I dont think its judgemental to look at them. You still have a mind of your own and make it up.

We just look at veries to make sure they are genuine, after that we take the profile as a whole to gauge if we might be compatible.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of fake / dishonest profiles on here. So I'd imagine verifications are pretty important to most on here, especially the single women. You'd have to be a lunatic to even contemplate meeting a bloke off the internet, without knowing anything about him

cwmbran,

Surely the whole point of having veri's is so that others can read yours and you can read theirs. Bit pointless to have them otherwise lol.

It's always a plus if veris are from someone we know. Proves they are genuine and not just a fake with three profiles verifying each other

I tend to read veris and then the veris of the veri.

Sounds a bit odd but when it comes to meeting strangers from the Internet it's best to be as thorough as possible. I would hate to be in the situation or to put someone in the situation where I it they are asked to leave.

I am one to give newbies a chance as well. But only after chatting for a while.

I do read verifications and when I was meeting alone men would have to have recent veri's and also if they had met someone I knew i would be more comfortable.

I've hidden mine because I was slagged off by someone I refused to meet for having too many. Says I've met quite a few men but they are from the same people who keep reinventing themselves. I always have a nose at the veri's when someone new sends a msg

If someone is slagging you off for having too many veri's, that's their problem, not yours.. I tend not to get the hidden veri's much.. Could possibly point towards the fact some may have negative verifications/feedback?! Either way, for a single guy, it's quite hard to get a veri unless you're willing to sleep through half the site... I'm just not one of those....
