I had a previous thread removed regarding a pembroke dock social. I understand there is another social happening on this date, this is fine, as this social is being aimed solely at locals in this area who may find attending socials further away hard due to travel issues or not being able to accommodate.
The social meet will begin at around 12:30 pm in Pembroke Dock. Accommodation can be offered on site at a reasonable and competitive price. A very reliable train service and bus service is also available.
This event will be held at a local pub/hotel. Happy hour is from the times of 3pm-8pm. The venue itself will be very intimate, although am currently in talks with a friend who owns a nightclub in Milford Haven (max capacity is 350).
This social is only geared towards those who fancy a few drinks, a good laugh and with a zero tolerance to any form of attitude which may offend. Needless to say, drugs or any other form of offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. I have also arranged for private security, also who have been on site in the past.
This meet is very much all about catching up with faces you may have not yet met, but as previously stated, it's all about having a laugh, few drinks and just generally getting to know people. There are no pressures in meeting people, as this is not speed dating lol.
I personally will be at this venue from about 12.30pm... If some turn up, I'll gladly stay beyond happy hour, and even into the early/late evening.. Unfortunately I cannot accommodate, although not only is there on site accommodation, the is a travelodge within walking distance and other places of accommodation are available, including a b&b right next door.. Convenient, right?!
This is the first social in this area, so don't expect masses of people, but I hope after a few socials it will expand to the size of the nightclub currently in talks
